Easy to learn; quick to master
Featuring pressure sensor pads and advanced self-balancing technology (the same as found in Segway), FutureBoard is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. All you have to do is lean forward to move forward, lean backward to stop, and turn by pushing your toes down. As the board spins on the spot, it’s extremely easy to turn and navigate. You can master FutureBoard with just a few minutes of riding.
Self-balancing with intuitive controls
FutureBoard’s high-quality inertial sensors and advanced algorithms quickly and precisely balance the board over the wheels. A high-speed central microprocessor using precision gyroscopes powers the brushless motors in the wheels to follow the user’s guidance. FutureBoard features gyroscopic technology, which allows you to easily and quickly master maneuvering the board, giving you complete hands-free control over your transportation.
Rugged yet elegant design
The wheel covers have been specially designed to cut down on debris collection and prevent the wheels from getting stuck. The material used underneath FutureBoard is robust and can withstand tough usage, while the base plates protect the inner mechanism.
Powerful hub motors
The board runs on two brushless hub motor that are cleverly integrated into the non-inflatable tires and provide it with power and reliability in most terrains. The eco-friendly motors run on a state-of-the-art 158WH rechargeable battery, which can be fully charged in a little over 2 hours for a range of around 20 km.
Intelligent pressure pads and speed limiter
Each wheel is managed by two independent motors that turn and move with shift in the user’s weight. The pressure sensors under the foot pads detect the micro-movements in your feet and ankles, and relay that information to the motors, which automatically shut off when the user steps off. Two sensors (one under each foot pad).
Eco-friendly with zero-emission
FutureBoard runs on a high-quality rechargeable battery that lasts for around 20 km on a full charge. Recharging is even simpler, and the board can be fully charged in around 2 hours from any standard power outlet using the included power adapter.
Q) The device vibrates when I place my foot on the pedal.
A) The vibration is a safety feature. It indicates that the feet aren’t properly place on the pedals.
Q) How far will the device go on a full charge?
A) FutureBoard’s range depends on various factors, such as the rider’s weight, type of terrain, speed and driving style. But ideally, FutureBoard is able to cover around 10–20 km on a full charge.
Q) How long does it take to fully charge the device?
A) FutureBoard can be fully charged in about 130 minutes.
Q) The device is not responding.
A) FutureBoard’s onboard processor has built-in protection feature that cuts off power supply to the wheel motors when the user’s feet aren’t properly placed on the pedals or when the user shifts body weight too quickly or if the user exceeds the device’s speed limit (10 km/h).
Q) How to calibrate the Device?
A) Below is the step on How to calibrate the Future Board.
- Put the Device on the hard straight surface,
- Turn off the Power and make sure that the device is balanced.
- Press and hold the Power Button for 3 Seconds and wait until its Start Flashing then release the Power button.
- Let it flash for 5 to 10 seconds and then turn off the power.
- Device is already calibrated.
